Student Life at Omoro SS
Student life at Omoro Secondary School is designed to support academic growth, talent development, discipline, teamwork, and responsible living. Students in Class
Classroom learning is at the centre of student life at Omoro Secondary School. The school has five classroom blocks that support teaching and learning across different classes.
In the classrooms, students participate in lessons, discussions, exercises, assessments, and revision activities that prepare them for academic success. Teachers guide learners to understand key concepts, ask questions, think critically, and develop the discipline needed for continuous improvement.

Computer Lab
Omoro Secondary School has a computer laboratory with 30 computers and internet access. The computer lab supports digital learning and helps students develop important technology skills required in today’s world.
Through access to computers and the internet, learners are introduced to digital literacy, research skills, computer-based learning, and responsible use of technology. The computer lab also helps students access information beyond the classroom and prepares them for further studies, modern careers, and practical problem-solving.
This facility plays an important role in making learning more interactive, practical, and relevant to current educational needs.
Sports
Sports are an important part of student life at Omoro SS. The school encourages learners to take part in games and athletics as a way of developing talent, fitness, teamwork, discipline, leadership, and confidence.
Omoro Secondary School is proud of its achievements in sports, including being 2024 champions for both boys and girls.
Football
Football helps students develop teamwork, discipline, confidence, and physical fitness.
Netball
Netball gives students an opportunity to improve coordination, teamwork, speed, and concentration.
Volleyball
Volleyball promotes teamwork, communication, agility, and quick decision-making. Students learn to work together
